After All That of Yesterday Part 2So Frollo and Maleficent Started a Live race.
Frollo: Well prepare to eat my dust!
Maleficent: Yeah right.
So as they were racing the ultimate race of fifty laps on expert difficulty, there was a slight rumble.
Frollo: what just happened? Maleficent? are you there?
The wifi had been knocked out.
Frollo: hm... just an earthquake, I think.
But then The fire began to act erratically. Then the flame turned dark purple and the flame flew out of the fireplace and right into the burned side of his face and then the flame covered the rest of his body.
Frollo: AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!
After that Frollo noticed an odd stone in his fireplace.
Frollo: what the heck is this?
Then the stone floated out of the fireplace and it suddenly was engulfed in flames. After a fire filled explosion, a white dragon with blue eyes stood before the judge.
Frollo: Holey ship!!! O-O What are y-you?!
???: I'm Reshiram the fire dragon.
Frollo: (He is still awestruck)
Reshiram: I emerged

So after setting up and stuff, they begin their first brawl.

Maleficent: Yeah, because when I play on wifi, it hides my true id.

Just Make Comics on MakingComics.com - Artist call

Today, I'm proud to announce the launch of my new monthly column on MakingComics.com, called Just Make Comics. (Read it to see what that simple title is all about.)

In the first installment, "Get the Project Started" I practice what I preach by doing two important things-- Doing some actual writing, and starting to look for an artist collaborator for the column.

Yes-- as announced in the column, I am looking for an artist partner for short comics and illustrations to complement the written portion of the column every month. Just to show how dedicated I am, I'm conducting the whole process before your eyes. If I fail, the second installment won't have any visual component, so I'll live or die by my own advice here.

I'll be writing advice on just making some damn comics, and I'd like to work with an artist to illustrate my points and show sample short comics. Some installments may even be purely in comics form. If you're interested in a regular monthly gig, never more than two pages a month (often less) hit me up with your portfolio and a clever comment.
